The satoshi is Bitcoin’s standard smallest unit:

Frequently asked questions
How many satoshis are in 1 Bitcoin?
Exactly 100 million (10⁸). That ratio is fixed by the protocol.
Does this tool fetch a fiat price?
No. It only converts units (BTC ↔ sats). There is no market price or FX rate.
Can I use it for Lightning amounts?
Yes. Many Lightning invoices and fees are quoted in satoshis; conversion helps read the BTC equivalent.
